As Huckeye Charters LLC continues to grow we are considering adding 1 to 2 more guides to our organization! We have 2 potential employment opportunities for either an experienced waterfowl guide wanting to guide in Ohio or an experienced waterfowl hunter interested in learning the ropes of guiding and becoming an accomplished Huckeye Charters guide. This is seasonal work beginning October 10 — late January when waterfowl season ends. Guides will have the opportunity to stay on and run walleye, perch and goose trips all spring, summer and early fall.

Whether you are looking to join our team as an Experienced Guide or an Apprentice Guide, passion is a must. You must be passionate and absolutely love all the things that go into making a waterfowl hunt or walleye trip fun, safe, and productive.

Trip windows you'll be running: AM 6:00–11:00 or PM 1:00–5:00 (5 hours AM / 4 hours PM, or until limit reached — whichever comes first). Multiple trips per day during peak season.

Required for both positions

Shared requirements.

Both positions require reliable transportation capable of towing our boats. 4-wheel drive is strongly recommended. You will be provided a company fuel card for both the boat and your vehicle while using it to scout and transport our boat to and from the lake. All positions are subject to background checks and drug testing (mandatory to be in a random drug-screening pool as long as you have an active captain's license).
